Membership

The New Zealand Shipping Company Association (Incorporated), P.O. Box 4061, Shortland Street, Auckland, 1140, New Zealand.

Membership of the association is open to all former employees of the New Zealand Shipping Company, both sea based or ashore.

The aim of the Association is to provide a social platform to enable members to maintain contact with former colleagues. A newsletter, "Crossed Flags" is produced about three times a year and distributed to all financial members. Members' contributions for this are always welcome.

Typically three meetings take place each year in Auckland, but groups of members in other centres also meet from time to time. Details of these meetings are published in the newsletter At present the membership totals approximately 150 within New Zealand, 15 in Australia and nearly 40 in the British Isles.
